Vice Presidents

Eileen Sheridan

Eileen's incredible record breaking performances as a professional rider for Hercules in the fifties are not only outstanding athletic achievements, but in capturing the public imagination at the time she helped to lead to a change in attitude to women's sport in general. In 1955 she had completed the incredible feat of holding all 21 of the WRRA records recognised at the time. Indeed, she still holds many records, but is the first to encourage and support those who set out to break them.

Christine Watts

Chris previously held office as President and Secretary of the WRRA and her name can be found in the record books of the WRRA, SRRA and RTTC.  She stood down from the RRA Committee in 2000, but was welcomed back to the RRA as Vice-President at the AGM in 2001.
